Inside a renowed art gallery located in Forte dei Marmi, a dialog between famous artist's pieces of art and some furnishing by Rugiano Interiors Decoration.
In a very clean‐shape space, almost aseptic, are exhibited paintings and sculptures by famous Maestri like Andy Warhol, Mimmo Rotella and Helidon Xhixha. Shapes and colors break off from the white walls and from the marble floor creating dynamic and eclectic atmospheres: in this environment the Rugiano's furniture loose the traditional domestic meaning and leave space to the exclusive and refined character typical of the form of art. Soft lines and precious materials as laser cut chrome‐steel or hand‐wrought steel (a clear reference to the sculptures of Xhixha), smooth leather with capitoné stitching or crocodile or lizard textures, Carrara marble and white lacquered glass (a perfect solution for the minimalistic gallery), velvet and lacquered wood, hand‐made decoration with gold or silver leaf inserts and, moreover, matelassè stitching hand sewn by company's expert craftsmen, refined finishes of leather goods, true expression of italian manufacturing skill.
Art and Design meet together in a charming dialog, with a little bit of irony and eclecticism, suggesting us that also a piece of furniture can have the glamour and the beauty of an art piece, pursuing the historical tradition of deluxe furnishing 100% made in Italy.
